Music Production & Composition

If you desire a recording or publishing deal, give the executives something polished, professional, unique and exciting.

A producer is a music project’s equivalent to a film director. A producer is there to ensure that the artist records their best songs, drops enough hooks for the listener, gets their best takes, etc. The producer is usually the one to add the extra “ear-candy” on the record. He/She will sometimes co-write songs with the artist. They often final-mix the album, as well. Artists and record labels alike hire a producer to be the quality control, the person ultimately responsible for how an album turns out. “When people censor themselves they’re just as likely to get rid of the good bits as the bad bits.” – Brian Eno

Kensington Sound offers a wide variety of in-house and freelance producers and composers for the ear and the screen. Our staff would be glad to meet with you in person to discuss your project goals. Feel free to call us at 416-930-1275.
