Upcoming Event

Kensington Sound would like to invite you to come down to Kensington Market on Sunday May 16th from 4-10pm for a very special reason.

Kensington Sound will be celebrating its official 35th (unofficially 38th!) year of continuous operation and at the same time, its new partnership with treadFIRE Music that has lead to a funky new upgrade and renovation.

Graffiti’s Bar, 170 Baldwin, has graciously opened their doors so there will be open stage entertainment throughout the day with everyone welcome to participate.

Come check us out and sign our commemorative wall. Enjoy some great food, sit in with the bands and perhaps contribute to Vezi’s upcoming book ‘Kensington Sounds’ by recounting your favourite Kensington Sound memory.

Help us celebrate this remarkable musical legacy that continues to be an integral part of the Canadian music industry.

And if you needed another reason, what better way can you think of to kick off the summer season?

See you there!

Cheers,

The Kensington Sound Team
